Vivid Flight Media is an Emmy Award winning company specializing in aerial photography and FPV Drone Videography that boasts 100% client satisfaction. Founded in 2020 by Eric Hellinger, Vivid Flight Media has become one of the leading names in custom drone work and overall drone services in Ohio.
Our Story
Launched in 2020 during a challenging season, Vivid Flight Media began as a fascination with drones that quickly became an obsession and then a business. Eric never saw it as a side job or a passion project. It was a necessity and an escape from the monotony of his career at the time. That urgency fueled rapid growth. Within six months, he left his previous career to pursue Vivid Flight Media full time.
Those first six months were intense training. Eric completed online courses and self-study in basic cinematography, editing, business practices, drones, drone building, drone maintenance, and drone configuration. This self-education, combined with a strong background in sales, helped him earn trust, deliver results, and build lasting client relationships locally and nationally. Today, Vivid Flight Media operates with full FAA licensing for commercial work to ensure safe and compliant aerial operations while delivering cinematic visuals and precise storytelling.
